We offer 1 to 1 coaching and small group private training sessions in all of our areas: strength, fitness, conditioning, yoga, Pilates.

Whether you are new or returning to movement / exercise after a break, or an exercise enthusiast looking to take your health and fitness to the next level, we are here to support and guide you to acheive your goals.

Our holistic approach of movement, nutrition and lifestyle, means we help you look at the bigger picture of what true health, wellness and happiness is for you and how to create more of it in your life.

Ruth's Transformation

Ruth approached us for guidance, coaching and accountability on her journey.

Ruth approached us for guidance, coaching and accountability on her journey. So we created a personalised 12 week transformation program that Ruth committed to: a combination of healthy eating, training and accountability (using a photo food diary).

Then, 1 week before we started, Ruth badly injured her knee and it became clear that the strength and fitness training we had planned to do would have to be scaled back significantly from 3-4 full body workouts per week to just 1 or 2 upper body and rehab based sessions until her knee got better.

Despite this set back Ruth stayed committed to changing her diet and even with the reduced levels of exercise, her body weight began to come down. Feeling motivated Ruth stuck with it; cooking more of her own meals, and making smart choices when eating out. After 8 weeks, the knee started to get a little better and Ruth was able to increase her training, getting back to some functional fitness classes with modifications for the knee. This extra 1-2 sessions per week was the catalyst for even greater weight loss.

Tailored attention to detail to help you progress

We offer 1-to-1 or small group yoga classes to assist you to get the most out of your yoga classes.

People are drawn to 1-to-1 or small group sessions if they want more of a tailored approach, want to progress quickly, have plateaued in the larger group classes or if they are wanting to understand how to work around injuries. Some clients enjoy a single session to give them a boost. Many return periodically e.g. every month or two, and others enjoy the motivation of a weekly or bi-weekly session.

We’ll have a short discussion to understand what it is you want out of the class(es) and plan and deliver the perfect style of class to suit your needs.

Jane's 1-2-1 Yoga Journey

Before I took classes with Emma, my feeling about yoga was always along the lines of “I can’t do it.” And, worse, “I hate yoga.”

I had attended only a couple of yoga classes in my life, which had always ended with me feeling as though I’d somehow missed the bus, or that it had simply passed me by while I was trying not to fall on my butt.

Emma changed all that. She did not laugh when I fell on my butt – she gave me a pole to balance on. When my body screwed itself into the general shape of a corkscrew, she waited ever so patiently for my brain to catch up, and for my legs to unravel and decide which belonged on the left and which on the right.

Her focus is exceptional. She is astute at gauging your level of ability; she sees your weak points and quietly seeks to adjust them; she makes you work hard without it being obvious or too much; and she varies the programme and always keeps it interesting. She is also charming and delightful company!
