Ruth's Transformation
Ruth approached us for guidance, coaching and accountability on her journey.
Ruth approached us for guidance, coaching and accountability on her journey. So we created a personalised 12 week transformation program that Ruth committed to: a combination of healthy eating, training and accountability (using a photo food diary).
Then, 1 week before we started, Ruth badly injured her knee and it became clear that the strength and fitness training we had planned to do would have to be scaled back significantly from 3-4 full body workouts per week to just 1 or 2 upper body and rehab based sessions until her knee got better.
Despite this set back Ruth stayed committed to changing her diet and even with the reduced levels of exercise, her body weight began to come down. Feeling motivated Ruth stuck with it; cooking more of her own meals, and making smart choices when eating out. After 8 weeks, the knee started to get a little better and Ruth was able to increase her training, getting back to some functional fitness classes with modifications for the knee. This extra 1-2 sessions per week was the catalyst for even greater weight loss.
