For those that have not been before, restorative yoga mostly takes place on the floor using props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks to support your body in specific poses so that your aching muscles don’t have to. This allows your heart rate to slow down, increases breath capacity,increases circulation, restores fluidity to muscles and joints and calms your mind.
We start with gentle stretches and warm ups which leads us to longer held restorative poses. The overall effect is total relaxation and a chance for your body to recover and be more prepared for any further training or just life in general!
No experience necessary, open to all. The class will be adapted according to your needs. Really informal and friendly.
