Join Charlie for an immersive yin and restorative yoga workshop, where you can delve deeper into the layers of rest and replenishment. Expect to be held through postures where you can really allow the body and mind to rest, helping you to recharge and ground.
We will begin with some very gentle stretching, to help create a fluidity in mind and body, before moving into the deeper space of yin yoga postures, with the support of bolsters, blankets, and blocks. Providing the opportunity to release tension in the key areas around the hips, back and shoulders, a whole body and mind experience.
With all the expectations placed on us in society, this will be the perfect opportunity to connect with your deeper capacity for rest, nourishing the nervous system in a calming environment. This creates space for a holistic stretch and release through the muscles, connective tissues and joints.
The postures will be offered in various options, so this workshop is for everyone, from beginners to people who practice yoga regularly.
Charlie is thoughtful and mindful of people’s bodies and experience and will guide you along the way. He believes it is often the paradox of change that is most resonant: that we don’t need to become more or do more, but often we deserve to allow layers to fall away, to rediscover a truer sense of ourselves. A beautiful way to pause and find peace in the modern world.
