What is Our 30 Day Health RESET?

Emma and Tom have been running their Health Reset programme for 8 years and have helped transform the health and lifestyle of hundreds who have taken part.

Tired of the deluge of quick fixes on offer, their real life approach to nutrition, movement and lifestyle changes has been proven to create lasting change in the health, wellbeing and happiness of the vast majority of their participants.

We aim to run 3 RESET programs each year. Usually in Jan/Feb, May/June and Oct/Nov. Click here to register your interest and be kept up to date on our next RESET.

What does the 30 Day Health RESET Involve?

Our 30 Day Health RESET doesn’t mean you have to only drink cold pressed spinach or detox on lemon water alone. It’s about returning to a more natural, balanced way of moving, eating and thinking. It’s about investing in yourself over 30 days to help you re-prioritise what is important in life and remember how good it feels to live in a state of health and balance. 

The best thing about this approach is that it doesn’t feel like you are denying yourself: the nutritional approach will allow you to eat delicious, nourishing food that will boost your energy levels and mental clarity; a consistent movement practice of fitness classes, yoga classes, hobbies, walking, running, cycling or swimming will improve your mood, reconnect you with your body and have you feeling stronger, fitter and more mobile than ever; and finally, the potent lifestyle tweaks will help you de-stress, restore and re-prioritise. Let’s take a look: 

  • Cut the Crap – remove ultra processed foods, sugar, limit caffeine and alcohol
  • Learn to Fast (optional) – allow your body to rest and heal with cutting edge fasting techniques
  • Move More – a combination of high intensity and low intensity sessions to get your body moving well again. Plus unlimited access to Energy For  Life online recorded classes.

“Before the reset I felt afraid of exercise, convinced people would pass judgement on my poor level of fitness. What I found at my first class was the exact opposite, everyone was really welcoming and I found being in a group a big motivator.

After the reset I feel like my whole attitude towards exercise and well being has changed. I used to dread going to the gym, it felt like a really lonely, isolating experience. Coming to classes at efl is the exact opposite, I have made friends, and week in week out I watch my peers progress and benefit from their encouragement.

My best results during the reset was definitely in the movement aspect, the other 2 aspects being nutrition and lifestyle. Over the course of the month I went from 0 hours exercise per week to anywhere up to 8. I started slowly though (in the first week I did 3 ) and was careful to listen to my body. I always thought people were lying when they said exercise was addictive!

There have been many benefits to doing the reset. I feel more confident already, mostly I guess because I feel in control of my physical health again, which was in decline due to inactivity. It can take a leap of faith to get started in such endeavours, but the benefits are more than worth it. My mental health is vastly improved, I can honestly say I have never felt better. I attribute this to the regular exercise, good nutrition and abstinence from alcohol and caffeine. I urge anyone in a rut to give it a go, I have so much energy now I literally find myself springing out of bed to go to one of the classes on offer.

In conclusion, if like me you have been inactive for a long period and feel overwhelmed at the thought of changing your habits, the reset could be just the thing. The holistic approach that includes nutrition, lifestyle, and movement gives you the tools to make those changes, just bring the willingness and positivity.”

An Abundance of Guidance and Support

Emma and Tom are here to support you along the way. They don’t just talk the talk either, they take part alongside you, and know how every step of the process feels so they can powerfully guide and support throughout.

The power of doing something like this in a group cannot be overestimated. If you’ve ever set yourself the intention to do something similar on your own, chances are you know that without the group energy it can quickly fizzle away.  Lean on the group for support, share recipes and ideas, and feel part of a change-making healthy tribe. Plus, you’ll be supplied with lots of resources to motivate you, inform you and help you stay on track along the way. We’ve done the trawling and cut through the cacophony of advice out there to create really simple and easy to follow guidance so you are clear at every step of the journey.

  • 30 Days Starts 5th November
  • Virtual Weekly Group Check-Ins – Mondays at 8pm via Zoom (recordings available if unable to attend)
  • Virtual End of Reset Meeting – on day 27 – Monday 2nd December at 8pm via Zoom
  • 30 Days ends on 5th December
  • Detailed action plan for you to follow that will teach you:
    • How to eat well, when to eat (and when to NOT) and why it’s important
    • How to shop, prepare and cook amazing food thats healthy and delicious (for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans)
    • The reasons & science behind each of the key commitments to encourage and inform. If we know the ‘why’, then we are far more likely to keep it up
  • Regular videos with helpful tips & tricks, things to action, the science behind it all, great reminders.
  • Resource pointers to podcasts, films, books and websites to help you find out more on any of the areas of the Reset.
  • 30 Days unlimited online access to our library of recorded classes
